Sherry Long

Sherry Lee Haskins Long, 63, of Bessemer City, passed away at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on July 16, 2021. She was born June 6, 1958, in Gaston County to the late Woodrow Willard Haskins and Velva Wimberly Haskins.

She was preceded in death by sister, Linda Hastings; and brother, Woodrow “Dodie” Haskins, Jr.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Jim Long; daughter, Tracy Conner; son, Charles W. Roland, III; stepson, James R. Long, Jr.; stepdaughter, Sharon Burton (Beauford); siblings, Billie Ann Ford, Carolyn Capps, LJ Haskins, Anita Beheler, Pat Haskins; 2 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; and 1 step-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM – 10:30 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

Sherry’s graveside service will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Ford officiating.
