Ruby Day

Ruby Smith Day, 86, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. She was born September 15, 1934 in Cleveland County to the late Ransom Verlin and Etta Swink Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Rev. Clint H. Day.

Ruby was a lifetime member of The House of Worship in Kings Mountain, NC. She loved spending her time watching wrestling and shopping.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Deborah Melton (John), Patricia Black, Mike Day, Tim Day, Carol Tart (Ron), and Teresa Day; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; 3 sisters; 3 brothers.
