Roger Butler

Roger Vernon Butler, 60, of Kings Mountain, passed away at Atrium Cleveland on March 20, 2023. He was born March 10,1963, in Cleveland County, to Alice Faye Foster Robinson and the late Guy Vernon Butler.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kelly Lynn Butler.

Roger loved music and singing. He enjoyed the beach and just piddlin on projects. Roger was known for giving advice, good or bad, quick-witted and enjoyed making people laugh. He always tried to be there for anyone who needed him day or night.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Devin Hannah, Adam Butler; daughter, Deanna Heath; grandchildren, Kaydence Heath, Colin Lawson, Triston Lawson, Remedy Heath; sisters, Debra Duetsch, Darlene Gibson, Kathy Courtney; brothers, Chris Butler, Kenneth Massagee.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Friday, March 24, 2023.

Roger’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Rev Tim Barrett officiating.

Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
