Perry Wayne Brown, 69, of Dallas passed away at his home on June 30, 2021. He was born February 4,1952, in Forsyth County to Carolyn Stutts Brown and the late Lester Gray Brown.

He was preceded in death by his grandchildren Rachel and Eliana Quinn.

Perry was a retired Army veteran. He was a dedicated youth bowling coach for over 30 years and received many honors in the sport of bowling. Perry held Hall of Fame Honors in Berlin, Germany, Gaston County and North Carolina. He was the National Youth Bowling Coach of the Year.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 51 years, Debbie Brown; daughters, Shanna Brown Quinn (Mark), and Kimberly Brown Hefner (Aron); brother, Charles Lester Brown (Sharon); sisters, Robin Brown Lowder (Dale), and Tracy Brown Phipps; grandchildren, Abby “The Favorite” Brown Pearson (Mitchell), Austin Zobel, Andrew Weiss, Selah Quinn, and Moriah Quinn; great-grandchildren Graham Pearson, and Liam Pearson.

The family will receive friends 4:30-5:45 PM prior the memorial service at Parkwood Baptist Church on Friday, July 2, 2021.

Perry’s memorial service will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Parkwood Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Quinn officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Gaston Hospice PO Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054.
