Patty Smith

Patricia “Patty” Ann Smith, 64, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 22, 2021 with her faithful dog “Toby” by her side. She was born August 10, 1956 in Gaston County to the late Wilburn Neal and Betty Jean Clevenger Smith.

Patty loved listening to gospel music, going out to eat and sitting on her porch talking with friends. She never met a stranger and would talk to anyone. She would help anyone in need and loved her little yorkie.

Left to cherish her memories are her sisters Gail Honeycutt (Russell), Pamela Browning (Jerry), and Terrie Dedmon (Philip); nephews Lee Glenn, Christopher Smith, and Andrew Browning; niece Sabrina Massey; other family and friends; and her fur baby Mr. Toby.

Patty’s graveside service will be held 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

The family will greet friends following the service.
