Mary Norman

Mary “Sissy” Julia Moore Norman, 72, passed away at Robin Johnson House on Monday, November 2, 2020. She was born November 18, 1947 in Gaston County to the late Henry Moore and Lida Leventha Lynn Moore.

She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Joe Moore.

Sissy was a member of Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church, Dallas. She liked yard sales, thrift shopping, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 53 years Eddie Norman; sons Richard Kevin Norman (Karrie) and Mark Thomas Norman (Keegan); Lila Frances Trusky (Jim); sisters Carolyn Black and Kay VonCannon (Melvin); 13 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Sissy’s memorial service will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Don Payne officiating.
