Marian Ophelia Phillips Jenkins, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 21, 2020 while at Summerville Community Hospice House, Summerville, SC. She was born September 13, 1939 in Pelzer, SC to the late Roy Leon and Louann Clark Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years David Ray Jenkins.
Left to cherish her memories is her daughter, Kim Spears of Goose Creek, SC; son, Kevin Jenkins and wife Sherry of Gastonia; sister Faye Fowler of Greenville, SC; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Doug Baltzegar, will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, January 25, 2020 in the Pisgah ARP Church Cemetery, Gastonia.
Her family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to her service at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to St Jude's Children’s Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
