Margaret (Johnson) Jackson

Obituary

Margaret Johnson Jackson, 85, of Bessemer City, passed away on June 7, 2022. She was born February 13, 1937, in Gaston County, to the late Adam Clayton Johnson and Eva Oates Johnson.  

She was preceded in death by daughters Donna Jackson Mitchell and Tracie Lynne Jackson; sons Jeffrey Jackson and Carl Norman Jackson, Jr.; sister Martha Johnson Cantrell. 

Margaret was a lifelong member of the First Wesleyan Church, Bessemer City 

Left to cherish her memories are brother James Johnson (Sue); grandchildren Renee Welch (Chad), Derrick Jackson (Krizten), Tasha Jackson (Hyoungdon Shin); 5 great-grandchildren;  

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at First Wesleyan Church. 

Margaret’s funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on June 11, 2022, at First Wesleyan Church with Pastor John Harper officiating. 

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery, Bessemer City.
