Kenneth Poindexter

Kenneth Dale Poindexter, 73, of Gastonia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2019 at home. He was born July 17, 1945 in Gaston County to the late Marvin and Connie Poindexter.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 54 years Irene McGinnis Poindexter; sons John and Michael Poindexter; grandchildren Devin, Josh, Cody and Drew; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Gene Poindexter and wife Judy.

Preceded in death by brothers Marvin Poindexter, Jr and Mike Poindexter.

His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, April 22, 2019 at the funeral home.

Kenneth’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Pete Cole, Rev. Mike Wilson and Rev. James Chambers officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
