Jimmie Shelton

Jimmie Darrell Shelton, 73, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was born June 16, 1947 in Harveyton, Kentucky to the late Glenn and Opal Shelton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Shelton.

Jimmie was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 50 years, Eva Shelton; sons, Glenn Shelton and wife Rachele, Todd Shelton and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Malia Johnson and husband Colby, Hannah Cook and husband Matthew, Micah Shelton and wife Rheanna, Cody Shelton and wife Alexus, Megan Shelton; great-grandchildren, Jameson Johnson, Emerson Johnson, Emma Cook, John-Luke Shelton, Levi Shelton. He is also survived by brothers, Mike Shelton, Carson Shelton; sisters, Vicki Snyder, Sharon Smith, Cathy Rodriguez, Edye Lally; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmie’s memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Neely officiating.
