Ian Vargas

Ian Alexander Vargas, 7, of Bessemer City, passed away on September 4, 2021, at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital. He was born August 15, 2014, in Edison, New Jersey to Alberto and Crystal Vargas.

Ian reciprocated the love he was given with everyone around him. Loved his family and friends, the beach, action figures and he was all boy.

Left to cherish his memories are mom and dad, Alberto and Crystal Vargas; sister, Delilah Vargas; paternal grandparents, Josefina and Angel Vargas; maternal grandparents, Susan and John Powers; aunt and uncle, Jennie and Paul Guerreiro; uncle, John Powers; cousins, Leonardo, Tyler and Chloe.

Ian’s funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Kirby officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
