Gerald Spidel

Gerald Leon Spidel, 64, of Mt. Holly, passed away at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on November 21, 2021. He was born October 27, 1957, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Harry “Butch” E. and Joanne Grove Spidel.

Gerald retired from Crown Lift Trucks after 25 years of service. He enjoyed playing music with special friends, fishing, NASCAR racing, and his fur babies Jill and Angel.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Janice Abernathy Spidel; stepson, Rhyne Linker (Ashley); bonus children, Amanda and Dave; sister, Cynthia Bridges (Joseph); nephews, Joseph Tyler Bridges (Hannah), Jacob Elijah Bridges, and Kevin Andrew Bridges (Jessica); great nieces and nephews, Mila, Finley, Camden, and Liam Bridges.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sisk Butler Funeral Home on December 4, 2021.
