Diane Wery

Elizabeth Diane Harris Wery, 63, of Dallas passed away at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on July 27, 2021. She was born August 1, 1957, in Gaston County to Barbara Ella Hance Spencer and the late Virgil Harris.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Harris.

Diane loved traveling when she could, her pets, but especially her son and grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Christopher Wery (Angela), and Bo Summers; mother, Barbara Spencer; grandchildren, Chris Wery, and Nate Wery; sisters, Donna Blackwell, and Sandy Ertzberger (Marcell); brother, Richard Hoefner (Sandra); husband, Scott Wery; nephews and nieces.

Diane’s memorial service will be held 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Sisk Butler Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends following the service.
