Betty Christopher

Betty Lou Parker Christopher, 77, passed away at Brain Center on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was born September 30, 1943 in Haywood County to the late Vance Parker and Alma Irene Parker Buckner.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cecil Hampton Kirkland, Arthur Harrison Christopher, Jr.; brothers, Rev. Ernest Parker, Clifford Leo Parker; sisters, Ruth Parker Goins, Haladine Parker Ewing, Kathy Parker Day; and grandson, Aaron Kirkland.

Betty was the owner/operator of Betty’s Crafts & Gifts.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Ronnie Kirkland; brothers Johnny Parker, Charles Parker; grandchildren, Brandi Kirkland, Austin Kirkland; and great-granddaughter, McKinley.

Betty will lie in state from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Monday, May 24, 2021.

Betty’s funeral service will be held 6:00 PM on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.
