Barbara Carver

Barbara Waddell Carver, 79, of Mt. Holly, passed away on September 8, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was born June 25, 1942, in Gaston County to the late William and Mildred Gladden Waddell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Verlin Carver; son, Mitch Carver; brother, Bill Waddell.

Barbara loved her family dearly. She was honored to be a wife, mother, grandmother, and even a great-grandmother. Barbara was a faithful woman who loved God.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Vicki Callicutt (David), Alan Carver (Christine), Michael Carver, John Carver (Nena), Aaron Carver (Linda), Paul Carver, William Carver (Tammy), Jonathon Carver, and Heather Jones; 33 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and brother, Danny Waddell (Kay).

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Sisk Butler Funeral Home on Friday, September 10, 2021.

Barbara’s funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Sisk Butler Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens.
