Willa Mae Martin

Willa Mae Moore Barnes Martin, daughter of the late Olen Edd Moore and Pearl Lee Willis Moore, transitioned to heaven on Monday, December 7, 2020.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed taking the grandchildren on trips to the zoo, beach, fair, and aquariums. The grandchildren hold many fond memories to cherish forever. Willa Mae was of the Baptist faith and loved old gospel hymns. She retired from Wix Filters after 37 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Rickey Martin; son Elvis Barnes; daughters Sheila Belk (David) and Michele Roberts (Barney); granddaughters Brittany Barnes, Sarah Belk, and Rebecca Belk; great grandchildren Braven Fox and Ka’Miah Bratton; and sister-in-law Earline Moore.

She was preceded in death by her brothers R.B., Jack, Gene, Bob, and Kenneth Moore; sisters Mary Lee West, Gladys, Ruby Mae, and Dorothy Mae Moore.
