Wanda Conner

Wanda Lisa Marchbanks Conner, age 65, of Bess Town Road, passed away on Thursday July 5, 2018. She was born on April 18, 1953 in Goodrich Michigan, daughter to the late James and Jeanette Nichols Marchbanks.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Marchbanks.

Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband of 44 years, John Conner, Sr.; sons, John Conner, Jr. and wife Emily of Lenior, Tony Conner and wife Oletia of Bessemer City; her furbaby, Gizmo; grandchildren, Alex, Caylie, and Cade Conner; brothers, Wally and Greg Marchbanks; sisters, Donna M. Rogers, and Dana M. Woods.

A Celebration of Wanda's life will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor Sherman Branch and Mr. Richard Palmer officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery

Her family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
