VIVIAN COSTNER

Vivian Vernell Phillips Costner, 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, while at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born February 21, 1940 in Gaston County, daughter to the late Edgar and Sallie Childers Phillips.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 63 years Jacob Costner, Jr.; sons Mike Costner and wife Celia of Florence, SC, Brian Costner of the home, Jeffery Costner of Gastonia; daughters Anita Friday and husband Clyde of Dallas, Rhonda Wilkinson and husband Mike of Gastonia, Susan Fowler and husband Tommy of Gastonia; sister, Glenda Queen of Gastonia; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to her service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.
