Tommie Bradley

Tommie Mathis Bradley, 91, passed away peacefully Monday, April 16, 2018 at her residence. She was born July 20, 1926 in Swain County, daughter to the late Thomas and Amanda McClure Kirkland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Charlie Mathis and second husband William Bradley; her children Roy Mathis, Wanda Russell, Eddie Mathis, Wayne Mathis, Barbara Gibson, Billy Bradley; 7 siblings.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Leon Mathis and wife Brenda of Blacksburg, SC; daughters, Joyce Thomas and husband Larry, Amanda Hardin and husband Paul all of Gastonia, Faye Moss and husband Jackie, Tammy Suttles and husband Roger all of Kings Mountain; 2 siblings; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Waypoint Wesleyan Church of Dallas with the Rev. Tim Smith and Rev. Larry Laws officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to her service at the church.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
