Sylvia Miller

Sylvia June Scarbrough Miller, 80, of Bessemer City, passed away on October 9, 2016 at Carolinas Continued Care. Hospital, Kings Mountain. She was born on June 5, 1936 in Mossy, West Virginia to the late Hughie and Ethel Scarbrough.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Dempsey Miller. Sr.

Sylvia is survived by daughters, Kathy Burgess and husband Pat of Clover, SC, Nancy McCune and Husband Danny of West Virginia, Karen Jefferies and husband Elmer of Clover SC, Sharon Clemons and husband Robert of Bessemer City; sons, Dempsey Miller, Jr. and wife Dana, Randy Miller all of Bessemer City; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchildren.

Her graveside service will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Westview Garden.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 am Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
