Susan Burgess

Susan Jane Burgess, 68, of Casar, passed away at home on February 2, 2022. She was born January 8, 1954, in Fayette County, WV, to the late Franklin Benjamin and Dora Jean Scarbro Miller.

She is preceded in death by brothers Charles, Dempsey, and Bobby, sisters Helen and Louise.

Susan loved the beach, country music and watching LifeTime Television. She worked for many years in home health care.

Left to cherish her memories is the father of the children Eric Burgess, Sr., her children, Crystal Moses (Keith Wray), and Eric Burgess, Jr.; brother Tommy Miller, sisters, Mary Grant, Margie Miller and Betty Reese; grandchildren, Brittanie Deprey (Curtis), Carrie Moses, Christian Moses, Eric Burgess, III, Sabastian Burgess, Jason Burgess, Erica Burgess, Torie Burgess, Austin Burgess, Colton Burgess, Aiden Burgess, Scotty Burgess, Starr Burgess, and Dameon Burgess; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan’s memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sisk Buter Funeral Home on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
