Roy Hance, Sr.

Roy Dean "Butch" Hance, Sr., age 71, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare. He was born November 13, 1946 in Lincoln County, son to the late William T. and Ada Helms Hance.

Roy was a veteran of the United States Army. He was retired from FMC Lithium Division of Bessemer City.

Left to cherish his memories are sons and daughters-in-law; Roy Dean Hance, Jr and Gliaza of Lawton, OK. and Donnie Hance and Lisa of Becker MN.; sisters, Barbara Spencer, Polly Greenway, Linda Hensley; his twin sister, Suzie Heffner; brothers, Harold and Bobby Hance; grandchildren, Stephanie Bradberry, Alan Thompson, Meagan Ham, Tricia Hance, Jacob Hance, Glaze Hance, Jaxon Hance, Quentin Hance, Cora Hance; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Ham, Conner Ham, Ethan Noah Bradberry.

A memorial service, with military honors, will be held at 5:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2017 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Rev. Robert Ammons officiating.

His family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5: 00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
