Ronnie Weaver

Ronnie Lee Weaver, 65, passed away on Wednesday February 8, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 15, 1951 in Fanni Georgia to the late Carl and Helen Ruth Mason Weaver Walker.

Ronnie was a devoted husband and Christian. He loved life, his family, his friends, and his cat Stormy. His heart was bigger than he was. He never met a stranger. Everyone that knew him loved him. He couldn't wait to meet Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Weaver and Bobby Mason, his sister, Cathey Cothern, step-son, Donald Dowd.

Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of nearly 43years, Jackie Dowd Weaver; daughter, Marie Day, and husband Mike; grandson, Christopher Day; God-nieces April Martin, and Teresa Murphy; his twin sister, Connie Seagraves; his brother, Jerry Weaver and wife Paulette.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City.

His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Rev. Brian Austin officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
