Ronald Brock

Ronald Ligon Brock, 86, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Wendover Hospice House of Shelby. He was born May 28, 1931 in Gaston County to the late Grover and Eulalia Service Brock.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Brock, and his son, Ron Brock.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter-in-law, Holly Brock, granddaughter, Angela Brock and husband Derek Jones; great-grandson, Patrick Jones.

Ronald was a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force, serving eight years during the Korean war.

A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Scott Whitener, will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with full military rites by Bessemer City American Legion Post 243.
