ROBIE " WHEELBARREL" MATHESON
Robie "Wheelbarrel" Alan Matheson ,43, of Bessemer City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mountain on November 15, 2018. He was born August 6, 1975 in Gaston County to Debbie Flowers Matheson of Kings Mountain and the late Harold Eugene Matheson.
Robie was employed with ADS of Bessemer City. He was a member of Whetstone Masonic Lodge 515 Bessemer City and Crowders Mountain Shrine Club.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Windy Bingham Matheson; sons Tyler Bridges and wife Courtney, Jeremy Bridges all of Bessemer City; granddaughter Lynnelee (LuLu) Bridges; mother Debbie Matheson of Kings Mountain; sister Cindy Matheson Carpenter and fiance' Rodney Bridges of Kings Mountain; nephew Lane Carpenter of Bessemer City; niece Stephanie Carpenter of Bessemer City; Scott and Carly Shirley-brother from another mother; nieces Ragan and Camryn Shirley of Bessemer City.
His memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Sisk- Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Rev. Fain Farmer and Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating with masonic rites to follow in the chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Attention Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Fl. 33607
