Ricky Hamrick

Ricky Bryant Hamrick, 54, of Kings Mountain, passed away peacefully Friday July 7, 2017, at home. He was born on March 27, 1963 in Cleveland County to Carolyn H. Camp and the late Kenneth Bryant Hamrick

Rick was a veteran of the United States Army, owned the Silver Villa in Kings Mountain after his father. He was a member of the Kings Mountain American Legion Post 155 and the Legion Riders where he served as a former president.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Beth Hamrick; daughters Jennifer Greene & Cliff, Kamie Timms, and Amanda Reynolds & Jesse all of Kings Mountain; Mother Carolyn Camp of Shelby; brother Steve Hamrick & Reba of Fallston; sisters Crystal Wilson & Ken of Kings Mountain and Tammy Taylor & Randy of Littleton, CO.; maternal grandmother Eloise Huffstetler of Kings Mountain; grandchildren Alyssa. Alex, and Ethan Greene, Isaiah, Jaydin and Liam Hernandez, and Elijah, and Catherine Reynolds, Little Rick.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Casey Short officiating.

Rick's family will receive friends Monday July 10, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the service at the funeral home.

Escorted by the Legion Riders interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain with Military Honors by the Bessemer City American Legion Post 243.
