Paul Shaw

Paul Stephen "Steve" Shaw, 69, of Dallas, passed away, peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday May 22, 2016. He was born on August 13, 1946 in Gaston County to the late James Shaw and Denell Barber Smith.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ravon Shaw and sister, Sandra Logan.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 48 years, Letha Shaw; sons, Steve Shaw Jr. and wife Lou Ann of Dallas, Ray Shaw and wife Wendy of Gastonia; sister, Denise Bates and husband Gene, brothers, Bryan Shaw and wife Julie, David Shaw and wife Tracy all of Gastonia, and Jim Shaw and wife Mary Ann all of Georgia; grandchildren; Treasure and Riley Shaw, R.J. and Kaden Shaw.

Steve was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was loving husband, father and grandfather.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City.

Steve's funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday May 25, 2016 in the Sisk-Butler chapel with the Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
