Nova Cook

Nova Dian "Maw maw" Cook, 72, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born April 6, 1945 in Cleveland County, daughter to the late Richard and Virginia Gordon Hale.

She was preceded in death by her children, Donna and "Tiny"; and her brother, Rick Hale

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Doug Cook, Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug Cook, Jr., David and Wanda Cook, Richard and Gina Cook; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Lynn Benefield; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in Harvest Baptist Church, Bessemer City, with Rev. Robin Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to her service at the church.

Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
