Michael Eugene Pope

Michael Eugene Pope, 53, of Bessemer City, passed away at home on November 5, 2023. He was born April 7, 1970, in York County, South Carolina to Odell Pope and Brenda Sue Heffner Pope.

He is preceded in death by grandfather, Silas Pope and grandmother, Mary Pope

Michael was a simple man that loved his family and grandbabies. He was a truck driver by profession and enjoyed traveling down the road shifting gears.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 33 years, Deniece Pope; son, Michael Pope (Christina); daughters, Brittany McMahan (Adrian); April Pope (LaDameion Butler); sister, Debra Stines (Quinton); grandchildren, Rowan, Malcolm, Lukas, Adaline; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will host a private family lead service at a later date.
