Melvine Eller Morgan Rolland, 93, of Dallas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday September 2, 2017, while at Alexandria Place. She was born July 5, 1924 in Gaston County, daughter to the late Connie Marie Alexander Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Rolland, Sr.; sons, Bert Rowland and George Rolland, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Dianne Carver and husband Floyd; son, Ronnie Rowland and wife Ernestine; son, Jimmy Rolland and wife Sue; daughter, Tammy Stafford and husband Ricky; sister, Mandy Morgan; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held 11:00 am Monday September 4, 2017 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Pastor Harry Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Long Creek Baptist Church cemetery, Dallas, NC.
