Melvin Ledford

Melvin Eugene Ledford, 83, passed away peacefully at Peak Resources, Gastonia on April 27, 2018. He was born on October 29, 1934 in Swain County, NC to the late Fred and Cony Crisp Ledford.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margie Moose Ledford, and 2 sisters.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Rosa Ledford of Gastonia; granddaughter Crissy McCumbee and great-grandson Cory Brown both of Lincolnton; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm on Friday May 4, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, at the Chapel of Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev Ronnie Pressley officiating.

Interment will follow Westview Gardens Cemetery.
