Mary Bingham

Mary Jo Hoyle Bingham, 74, of Bessemer City, passed away August 24, 2017, at home. She was born November 18, 1942 in Bessemer City to the late Garland Theodore "Hop" and Pearl Crisp Hoyle.

Mary Jo retired from Affinia Wix Corp. She enjoyed the outdoors; including fishing, front porch sitting, flowers, and gardening. She also loved spending quality time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Larry Wayne Bingham; brothers, Bill and Grady Hoyle; sister, Maxine Weatherford.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Windy Matheson and husband Robie; grandchildren, Tyler Bridges and wife Courtney, and Jeremy Bridges; her furbaby, Ziggy; brothers, Russ Hoyle and wife Joyce, Dennis Hoyle and wife Jackie; sister, Josie Hoyle; numerous nieces and nephews; her close friends and her many "adopted" grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM Saturday August 26, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City.

Burial will be private.
