Marshall A Croft

Marshall A. Croft, 86, of Bessemer City, passed away at Peak Resources on November 2, 2023. He was born April 23, 1937, in Polk County, TN, to the late Clifford Woodrow Croft and Flora Prince Croft.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred “Mickey” Conrad Croft; stepmother, Lila Reynolds Croft; brother, Golman Croft; sisters, Elizabeth Croft Powell, Corliss Croft, Dorothy Croft Dills.

Marshall loved God, family, friends, music, and working on cars. He served as a Sunday School Superintendent and teacher at Ragan Wesleyan Church for many years. He loved reading his bible daily and attended First Wesleyan Church of Bessemer City

Left to cherish his memories are sons, Jeff Croft, Eric Croft (Leigh Ann); daughter, Cindy Croft Payne; grandchildren, Jeremy Laws, Jennifer Croft Smith (Bryan), Chasidy Payne, Gary Joe Payne; great-grandchildren, Kaydance Cooley, Makenzie Smith, Wyatt Payne, Graceland Payne, and Brayleigh Moore.

The family will receive friends Monday November 6, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

Marshall’s Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 Pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastors Melvin Proctor and Matt Mitchell officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
