Margie Dell Watts, 94, of Gastonia passed away on April, 11, 2016 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born on August 13, 1921 in Lancaster County, SC to the late Charles and Irie Henderson Watts.

She was preceded in death by her husband Noah Lawson Greene; sons, Edward Briscoe Greene, Charles Lee Greene; brothers, Lonnie Watts, Carl Watts, Talmadge Watts.

Margie is survived by her daughters, Bernice Ledford and husband Herbert of Gaffney, SC, Wanda Wooten and husband Troy of Clover, SC, Denisa Davis of Shelby; sons, Kenneth Lawson Greene of Coosbay, Oregon, Rev. James N. Greene and wife Rachel of Kings Mountain, Eddie Greene and wife Pam of Clover, SC; brothers, Hassell Watts of Greer, SC, David Watts of Gastonia; sister, Pat Cooley of Greer SC; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, April 15, 2016 at Upper Room Tabernacle Church, Gastonia with Rev. James Greene officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends April 14, 2016 from 6:00 pm until at the church.
