Margaret Chastain

Margaret Hilton Chastain, 70, passed away on Tuesday November 6, 2018, at home. She was born May 6, 1948, in Chesterfield County, South Carolina to the late Rev. Johnny R. Hilton and Lois Clark Hilton.

Margaret was a member of South Gastonia Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband Larry J. Chastain, Sr.; daughters Debbie Bridges and husband Steve of Gastonia, Loretta Towery and husband Bobby of Vale, Donna Gosnell and husband Bobby of Kings Mountain; son Larry J. Chastain, Jr. of Dallas; brothers Tony Hilton and wife Juanita of Lincolnton, Danny Hilton of Dallas; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Margaret's family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.

Her funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at South Gastonia Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Macon Smith and Pastor George Miller officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City
