Luther Alexander

Luther "Lukey" David Alexander, 55, of Gastonia, passed away on May 26, 2017 at home. He was born on February 18, 1962 in Cleveland County, to the late Johnny Wesley and Peggy Jean Hamm Alexander

Lukey liked the Washington Redskins, fishing, and watching westerns, especially with John Wayne.

He is survived by his daughter Brandi Alexander of Gastonia; son David Alexander of Bessemer City; sister Venus Alexander of Dallas; mother of the children Sheri Denton of Bessemer City; grandchildren Jillian Warren, Ian Alexander, Dominic Alexander, and Madison Alexander; nephews Frankie Duarte and Jerry Sellers.

His service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Trinity Assembly with Rev. Leroy Easler officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
