Louise Spencer

Hattie Louise Bolynn Spencer, 86, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2016 from Robin Johnson House, Dallas, NC. She was born on October 10, 1929 in Williamsburg County, to the late Herman and Rosa Rowe Bolynn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Spencer; her grandson, Ben Spencer; her siblings, Liller Glaze, David Bolynn, Harvey Bolynn, Nelson Bolynn and Linda Ballew.

Hattie is survived by children; Jerry Spencer and wife Pam, Johnny Spencer and wife Myra, Elizabeth Spencer, and Dean Spencer and wife Angie all of Gastonia; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings; L.D. Bolynn and wife JoAnn, Jeanette Oliver, Lattie Bolynn, Lester Bolynn and wife Kathey, and Donnie Bolynn.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September13, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm prior to her service at the funeral home.
