Lois Lineberger Sisk, of Dallas, NC passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016. She was born on October 2, 1919 in Gaston County to the late Robert Beeler and Georgia McAllister Lineberger.

Lois was a lifelong member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Dallas where she served as a teacher of Sunday School and Superintendent. She chaired many committees. Lois served on the Council and was active in WELCA. Lois was a public school teacher for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Herman Jay Sisk; brothers, Raymond, Wheeler, and R. B. Jr. Lineberger; sisters, Catherine L. White, Pauline Lineberger, and Elizabeth L. Grice, and her son-in-law, The Rev. David L. Martin.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debbra Sisk Martin of Salisbury; grandchildren, The Rev. Adrienne Martin, Suzanna Martin and husband Christopher Bailey.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Friday, December 30, 2016 at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Dallas.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday, December 30, 2016 at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Dallas with The Rev. David T. Drysdale II officiating.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to Christian Relief Services, PO Box 670, Raton, New Mexico 87740-9970.
