Linda Faye Melton

Linda McAbee Melton, 82, of Dallas, passed away at Caromont Regional on March 17, 2024. She was born July 11, 1941, in Gaston County, to the late William Henry McAbee and Essie Petty McAbee. 

She is preceded in death by husband, Jack A Melton, brother, William McAbee; sister, Nancy Rumfelt.

Linda was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Dallas, NC. She loved doing word search puzzles. She was an avid reader. She loved being a mother and grandmother to her precious family.

Left to cherish her memories are son, Raymond Lance Melton (Melissa); grandchildren, Randall Anderson Melton and Zack Jordan Melton, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Linda's Graveside Service will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Gaston Memorial Park with Pastor Chris Parker officiating.
