Linda Baldwin

Linda Marshall Baldwin, 71, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017, at her home. She was born in Gaston County, N.C. on June 27, 1945 to the late Hoey William Marshall, Sr. and Beatrice Carpenter Marshall.

Linda retired from Watson Insurance Agency after nearly 30 years as a bookkeeper in the Accounting Department. Her greatest joy was supporting her family…especially the grandkids.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 55 years Loy Clyde Baldwin, Sr.; son Loy Clyde Baldwin Jr. and wife Sheila L. Baldwin of Dallas; daughter Regina Baldwin Speed and husband Edwin W. Speed of Vale, NC; granddaughter Jessica Speed of Vale, NC, Alexis Baldwin, Savannah Baldwin both of Dallas, grandson Jacob Speed of Vale, NC; sister Patsy M. Sellers; brother Hoey William "Bo" Marshall, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 pm Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services in Bessemer City.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with the releasing of doves by the grandchildren.
