Kenneth Tallent

Kenneth Wray Tallent, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 23, 2018 at home. He was born on September 27, 1949 in Cleveland County to the late John Robert and Myrtle Spake Tallent.

He was preceded in death by three brothers; John "Junior," Bobby, and Gene Tallent; and two sisters; Edith Tallent Smart, and Florence "Sis" Collins.

Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 22 years, Judy Welch Tallent; his daughter, April Adams Boheler; daughter, Dana Laws; grandchildren, Colby Adams, Madison Queen, Dalton Queen; brother-in-law, Danny Welch; special nieces, Cassandra Elmore and Lora Smith.

Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Army Reserve.

His family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2018 at Puett United Methodist Church, 3009 Puetts Chapel Road, Dallas, NC.

A Celebration of Kenneth's life will be held at 11 am Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Puett United Methodist Church with Rev. Wade Childers officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
