John Patterson

John Franklin Patterson, Sr., 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Brian Center of Gastonia. He was born December 10, 1938, in Clanton, Alabama to the late Guy Stewart and Ennice Barrett Patterson.

John is preceded in death by his wife Donnie Frady Patterson.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Elizabeth Patterson Owens of Dallas, Barbara Stacey and David Goodson of Kings Mountain, Donna Sue Price and husband Donald of Inman, SC; son John Patterson, Jr. and wife Penny of Dallas; sister Virginia Greene of Plantersville, Alabama; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

John was employed with Armtex, Inc. for 30 years. The family wishes a thank you to Brian Center of Gastonia for their special care of Mr. Patterson.

A Graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2019 at Long Creek Memorial Cemetery, Dallas with Rev. John Taylor officiating.

His family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the service at Sisk-Butler Funeral Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
