John Medlin

John Darryl “John-John” Medlin, II, 25, passed away on April 19, 2012 at his residence. He was born on March 1, 1987 in Gaston County.

John was employed as a ramp agent with Piedmont Airlines. He graduated from Forestview High School Class of 2006. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Sheila Hardee McAteer and husband John of Gastonia; father, John Darryl Medlin, Sr. of Dallas; girlfriend, Breanna McNamara; sisters, Amanda Hardee, April Hughes and husband Jeff; brothers, Tyler Medlin, Josh Ballard, Dylan Bradley; grandmothers, Frances Bumgarner, Nancy Anthony; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Monday at 3:00 PM at East Gastonia Church of God with Rev. Glenn Mecum officiating.

Visitation will be before the service from 1:30-2:45 at the church.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Everette Hardee, John Medlin, Forrest Bumgarner
