JOE COBB

Joe Larry Cobb, 81, passed away January 28, 2019 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born May 23, 1937, in Gaston County to the late Anzin Barnette Cobb and Bertice Patterson Parton.

Joe was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister Genoa Chapman of Gastonia, nieces, Sharon Jackson Tate of Bessemer City, Cindy Dye of Gastonia; Vicki Wright of West Chester, Ohio; several other nieces and nephews; best friend James Teague of Bessemer City; his favorite companion dog Lucy.

A Graveside service for Joe's life, officiated by Rev. Jerry Millwood, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 Westview Gardens Cemetery.
