Jerry Roger Costner, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born on August 14, 1943 in Gaston County to the late Thomas Lee and Lela Detter Costner.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Mary Costner; sons Jerry Lee Costner and wife Tracy of Bessemer City, Roger Costner and wife Tammy of Kings Mountain; sister Doris Tyno of Clover, SC; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Jerry’s funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Dennis Detter officiating.
His family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
