James Postell

James William Postell, 54, of Bessemer City, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at home. He was born in Gastonia on July 1, 1961 to the late Floyd Morrison and Norma Morgan Postell.

He was preceded in death five brothers and sisters that died in infancy; his brother, Jerry Postell and his sister Barbara Lynn.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Allen Postell of Stanley; granddaughter, Callie Grace Turpin; his brothers, Doug Phillips, Boyd, Doug and Barry Postell; his sister Leona Postell.

A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday May 22, 2016 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with the Rev. Danny Gardner officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home

Burial will be private.
