James “Jim’ Robert Long, Sr., age 81, of Bessemer City passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family. Long, Jr.; Sharon Burton (Beauford); Billy “Charles” Roland; and Tracy Conner; grandchildren James Robert Long, III, Sierra Burkett, and Courtney Burkett; great-grandchild Caleb Long; special niece Jeanette Long; along with a numerous number of nieces and nephews.
