Hazel Martin Suggs, 70, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at home. She was born October 27, 1946 in Cherokee County, SC, daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Coleman Martin.

Hazel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was full of life, loved to dance, and loved to fish.

She was preceded in death by her son Ricky Dean Ramsey; sisters Ann White, Linda Martin; brothers, Dean Martin, George Martin, and Richard Martin.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Tony Suggs; son, Billy Dean Ramsey; daughter Lisa Mathis Greene and husband Richard; son, Randy Runyans, brothers, Ezel Martin, sister, Catherine Wegand; granddaughter Brittany Mathis and Eric Ray, numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Austin Young, Makinzy K. Wilson; extended family, Jacob and Briana Wilson

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2017 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
