Donna Tomberlin Breedlove

Donna Marie Tomberlin Breedlove, age 73, of Bessemer City, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born November 14, 1949, in Gaston County to Christine Johnson Tomberlin and the late Erskine Tomberlin. 

Donna was a Christian lady and was the most amazing wife, mother, sister, niece, maw-maw, aunt and friend. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, painting/coloring, working puzzles, cooking and sewing. Before her health declined, she was an avid gardener and she loved walking and hiking. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Tomberlin, and Jimmy Tomberlin. 

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Lester Jay Breedlove, Sr.; sons, Lester Breedlove, Jr., and Jason Breedlove (Melissa); grandchildren, Danielle Breedlove, Ryan Breedlove, Bailey Breedlove, and Christian Breedlove, and Ashlyn Breedlove; brother, Buddy Tomberlin (Judy); sister, Sharon Gaddis (Larry); aunt, Rachell Hartness; and uncle, Steve Tomberlin (Kathy). 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Cameron Barefield officating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery.
