Donald Sherbert

Donald “Don” Ray Sherbert, Sr., 71, of Gastonia, passed away at CaroMont Regional on December 19, 2022. He was born August 4, 1951, in Cherokee County, AL to the late Marvin Sherbert and Thelma Mae Watkins Sherbert.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Beverly Irene Sherbert.

Don was the owner of Don’s Lawn Service. He loved spending time with his family, his dog and playing golf when he could.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Donald Ray Sherbert, Jr; Shelley Mae Sherbert, Michael Anthony Sherbert (Christy), fur baby, Rascal; mother of the children, Cathy; seven grandchildren, Shana, Courtney, Josh, Amanda, Christopher, and Mickala; fifteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Sisk Butler Funeral Home.

Don’s funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday on December 23, 2022, at Sisk Butler Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
